Who says letter writing has to be boring?????

Are you in a rut?   Are you a bit bored with your letter-writing venture?  Why not shake things up a bit and get those creative juices going??  I've seen the letter writing tubes on different sites, but they are a bit pricey.  Here is my substitue:

This is one of those Crystal Lite containers (powdered drink).  If you get the one from Food Lion, it is transparent, not opaque, like other ones.  CHEAPO!!!!

I also found this tube...it was part of a car emergency kit.  Perfect for  a tube letter!  I don't know how much they would cost if you bought one, but you can check this out if you like this style better.

Once you determine what tube you will use...start the letter ...and  look for any enclosures that you might want to include.   I have also added a "fun factor"  of confetti.  Isn't it fun to see part of the letter?   Anyone handling this little baby probably wishes THEY were the recipients!

This one is ready to go...decorated with stickers and what not.  It is all so cheerful...who wouldn't love to receive something like this in their mail??  So get out of your rut, and do something FUN!!!!

  2. If you have a TAP Plastics store (or something similar) in your area, you can buy the tubes and caps like the one from your car emergency kit for just a few dollars. I like to buy the 18 inch long tubes (w/ 4 caps) and then cut them in half myself for the best deal.

  3. I bought my plastic tubes from a seller on eBay. I got five tubes for around $12, including shipping. That was the only place I could find tubes in small quantities at a reasonable price.
