Elaine Snail Mail

The Flip Book Process...

I decided that I wanted to make a little valentine-ish flip book for my friend Elaine.    I started with two blank cards that would be held together in a book format by...

Washi tape!  Here are some of my February faves...what about you?  Is your washi tape collection getting out of control like the rest of us?

The envelope punch is really helpful for whipping up all those cute little envelopes to hold your goodies.    The next step is to gather up your embellishment supplies:  stickers, tags, die cuts, confetti...whatever you have on hand that will make this flip book worthy!

The theme of this flip book is "Friends", and this is the cover.

Inside  the first pages.  By putting two cards together, it gives you a total of 8 pages to work with, including your front and back pages.

Next page...

Tea, anyone?

The back page is a bit lame...it needs something like...."That's it folks!"  ;-)

I didn't get all the photos of this that I wanted to.  I wrapped twine around the flip book  and  put it into a  clear cello bag  to mail.  I also included a letter that is not shown here.

A future post will feature Elaine's flip book that she made for me that will knock your socks off!  She took the idea and "ran with it"!  I can't wait to get it up and show you.  Hope this offers a little inspiration for you today!

Happy Snail Mailing,

Pam
