All sorts of goodies all wrapped up, so charmingly!

Look at all of this goodness!  The English Tea Shop Tea was on my amazon wish list...how did she know?  I love the Yankee candles, and her gorgeous photography that she makes into cards is just amazing.  Thank you dear Sheryl!  My birthdays are always so much better when something comes through the mail.

Amazing Nostalgic Flip Book

This arrived from Sharon.  She is quite  talented in her lettering abilities...Always very cute packaging.  You know, it makes you wonder , "What could be inside?"!

Of course there is the very newsy letter which I so enjoyed.  It feels like we are having a little chat over a cup of tea.  Not only is the lovely letter inside the parcel, but look at this little bit of history!  A page out of a ledger from 1917!  How cool is that?

Don't you just love this idea of using a page out of an old ledger  to wrap your goodies in?  I just wonder what sort of business this was...

And here is the gorgeous flip book that Sharon made for me.  I love her paper /embellishment combinations.

Christmas In July Parcel

Brrr....A Cool Parcel....On A Hot Day!

I received this from the ULTRA talented Limner over at  Oh Write Me blog.  I believe her snail mail blog may have been one of the first blogs I started following when I began mine.  If you haven't visited her site, do so!  Her creativity and her sheer art genius will astound you!

The parcel was packaged beautifully.  After I removed the outer wrapping, I found this pretty gold tissue wrapping with her beautiful script!

Look at this gorgeous box of stationery.  I love the art work--don't you?  Bees are a buzzing, and the butterflies are a fluttering.

I can't wait to use these lovely note cards.  Thank you Limner!  You made the heat wave here in Virginia...bearable!

Utica Snail Mail Incoming!

Some Recent Finds In My Mail Box

This came in my mail  some time back.  My niece has started a new enterprise called:  #uticablueprints on instagram.  I believe she will have an Etsy store up soon.  She makes these prints  of Utica's wonderful architecture ,her home town.  She is so talented isn't she? Then she included something else for me in the package. She picked up a customized rubber stamp for me in India. Perfect! Thank you Sarah.  (Update:  here is her Etsy store:  UticaBlueprints )

Here is one of her cards that she sent me while she spent a year in India.  I love how she sketched her surroundings.  I am wondering  if she kept a paper journal with her sketches.  Hmmm, I'll have to catch up with her and find out.
